O Switchfoot é uma banda americana de pop-rock . Começou sua carreira em 1997 e de lá para cá produziu 8 álbuns passando a obter reconhecimento a partir do álbum Learning to Breath devido às suas músicas usadas no filme Um amor para recordar. Ao contrário do que muita gente pensa o Switchfoot não se rotula como banda cristã. John Foreman, o vocalista, afirma que eles decidiram assim para que pudessem agradar a crentes e não-crentes.

A música Dare You to Move – do álbum The Beautiful Letdown – é um remake de I Dare You to Move – do álbum Learning to Breath. De fato elas são quase idênticas mudando pouco no instrumental e vocal – a letra é a mesma!
